Set of 6 designer dining chairs designed by Arnold Merckx and made by Fristho in the Netherlands in 1973.
A beautiful example of Dutch modernist design from the 1970s. The chairs are characterized by their solid wenge wood frames and hand-woven seats and backrests, which create a warm, natural look and excellent seating comfort.
The solid wood table perfectly complements the design: sleek, timeless, and solidly built.
The chairs are H78cm x W48cm x D49cm.
The table is L165cm x W85cm x H73cm and can be extended by half a meter with an additional tabletop.
Both the table and the 6 chairs are in absolute mint condition! There are only minimal signs of wear and age. A rare and complete set that fits perfectly in a designer interior, mid-century home, or as a focal point in a modern interior.
