This is a set of two lamps by the Italian brand Fontana Arte, consisting of a floor lamp (185 cm) and a table lamp (85 cm) from the Alma series. The designer is Daniella Puppa. The design is characterized by striking geometric styling with an inverted pyramid-shaped Murano glass shade and a slender, partially blue stand, also made of Murano glass. The design is entirely in the post-modernist Memphis style. The lamps are crafted using a combination of materials, including a metal base. The floor lamp is considerably taller than the table lamp, creating a dynamic interplay when placed together.
The set is in excellent condition with some signs of use and age. As can be seen in the photo, the plexiglass connection between the stand and the shade of the floor lamp has some small cracks. The original dimmer has been removed due to a defect, and the bulb has been replaced with a dimmable LED bulb, converting from an E14 to a standard E27 fitting.
