Cordless Vase Lamp in Dümler & Breiden Fat Lava Ceramic – 36 cm
A distinctive, one-of-a-kind piece from the heyday of German ceramic design: This cordless table lamp was crafted from an original Dümler & Breiden vase from the 1970s. The elegant, amphora-like shape and the classic Fat Lava glaze with its warm gradient of brown and vibrant orange make the vase a typical example of West German pottery.
The cylindrical lampshade echoes the vase's color scheme and creates a striking contrast with its expressive African wax print. The graphic Op Art-style pattern, with its dynamic lines, produces an impressive sense of depth. When switched on, the translucent fabric glows intensely, bathing the room in a warm, atmospheric light.
The lamp is wireless, making it ideal not only for sideboards or shelves, but also for dining tables, windowsills, balconies, or patios – anywhere there's no nearby power outlet.
Like all Roomlight Studio lamps, this unique piece has been carefully modified. The vase's collector's value is preserved, as no drilling was required. The reversible plug-in solution allows for easy restoration to its original state at any time. The lamp base is weighted for added stability.
The rechargeable LED bulb is charged via USB-C, provides approximately 6 to 12 hours of light depending on the brightness setting, and can be conveniently dimmed and color-adjusted using the remote control. Replacement bulbs are readily available.
