Designed by Charles and Ray Eames and made by Herman Miller in the late 1950s/early 1960s. Original coral woven fiberglass shell mounted on new shock mounts in eiffel black. Original Herman Miller stamp on the bottom of the bowl. The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in my opinion is not a patch on these original fiberglass models, which are aging nicely. In very good overall condition, with a few scuffs here and there (see photo) on the seat of the shell, consistent with age, but nothing noticeable.
