DSC 106 chair designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in the mid-1960s. This is one of Castelli’s most celebrated models – a true classic of Italian post-war design – combining a graphic architectural frame with remarkable comfort and practicality.
The chair features the characteristic die-cast aluminium side frame with integrated hand-grip, tapered steel legs and generously curved seat and back. The shells are upholstered in the original redbrown/ orange fabric which gives the chair a strong mid-century look and works beautifully with both minimalist and more colourful interiors. The Castelli mark is present on the metal understructure.
