The 'Non-Stop' DS-600 sofa, designed in 1972 by Eleanora Peduzzi-Riva, Heinz Ulrich, Klaus Vogt, and Ueli Berger for the Swiss manufacturer De Sede, is upholstered in original dark brown leather and green-brown felt. It comes from the original owner, who purchased it from De Sede in Switzerland in the 1970s. This modular sofa consists of 18 elements, two of which have armrests. The elements are connected with a zipper and pin and can therefore be divided. Thanks to its many elements, the sofa can be arranged in a straight, semi-circular, or playful configuration. This mid-century sofa is also known as the Snake or Tatzelwurm. A stylish, organic design that is timeless, versatile, and extremely comfortable; a true design icon.
In original and good vintage condition with patina and signs of wear commensurate with its age. The bench has been professionally restored and treated, but after all these years, it still has some cracking in places.
