Doyen “Yvette” Water Goblets – Set of Six Belgium, Art Deco Period, Circa 1930s An Elegant and Exceptionally Rare Set of Six Crystal Glasses From the Yvette Service, Produced by the Belgian Glassmaker Doyen (Havré-Ville) During the Art Deco Period. The Yvette Model Was Produced With Several Different Decorative Cuts, Examples of Which Can Be Seen in the Original Doyen Catalogue Documentation. The Present Set Features a Particularly Refined and Much Rarer Variation, Distinguished by Its Delicate Vertical Hand-Cut Lines and Subtle Geometric Decoration. While This Exact Cutting Pattern Is Not Illustrated in the Available Catalogue Pages, the Characteristic Proportions, Conical Bowl and Distinctive Foot Clearly Correspond to the Documented Yvette Form. Entirely Handcrafted From Fine Crystal, Each Glass Was Individually Shaped and Cut by Hand. The Restrained Decoration Beautifully Catches the Light While Preserving the Clarity and Elegant Simplicity of the Crystal.
