Two flames, a few crystal glints, and a table's appearance is immediately transformed. This very elegant two-light candelabra forms an almost sculptural silhouette, evoking an open lyre. Its two arms gracefully rise from a wide oval base, entirely crafted to play with the light. The crystal is generously cut with radiant patterns and stylized foliage. The broadly faceted base forms a luminous, corolla-like shape, while the two fluted bobeches elevate the candles. When lit, the crystal's facets catch the flame and multiply it into a myriad of small reflections. Crafted in Europe in the second half of the 20th century, circa , it belongs to that generation of decorative objects where crystal transitioned from grand ceremonial tables into more free and contemporary interiors. On a set table, it immediately adds an elegant touch. On a console table, a fireplace mantel, or a low cabinet, it becomes a standalone decorative object.
