Rainer Daumiller is a furniture designer born in Germany and emigrated to Denmark in 1959. The sculptural wooden furniture represents Daumiller's love of natural materials and his connection with nature. The artist's work is strongly influenced by the ideas of the Austrian philosopher, social reformer, and architect Rudolf Steiner.
The set consists of eight chairs and a table. The table includes four extensions. The furniture shows slight signs of wear, such as scratches and dents. The mounting brackets on the underside sometimes have to be improvised with wire.
