Offered is this rare set of six brutalist dining chairs from the iconic, solid Belgian brand De Puydt.
This set of solid oiled oak chairs was made in the 1970s.
The "Rhapsody" model is available with or without armrests.
This set, without armrests and with a high back, has a more timeless design and fits into both a sleek, modern interior and a classic setting, or amidst Scandinavian design.
The curved upper section fits like a puzzle into two uprights that form the back legs, and the modular seats rest on rectangular legs.
The chairs still have a beautiful sheen, feel solid, and are quite heavy.
The six chairs are in very good condition with minor signs of wear and signs of wear in the wood, consistent with the age and purpose of this modernist utensil. Dimensions per chair: H 107 cm, W 40 cm, D 58 cm, seat height 45 cm
These are pre-owned items with possible signs of wear or minor damage.
Color may vary slightly due to lighting; the photos show the exact product.
