Product description
Hans J. Wegner's dining chair is crafted with great attention to detail in a simple and functional design. This 1962 design shows the influence that American Shaker furniture principles and craftsmanship had on Wegner's work. These chairs are from the 1960s and all have new paper cord. The legs of the CH36 taper slightly toward the floor and toward the top at the back legs, creating an elegant look. The backrest is considerably more curved at the top than at the bottom to optimize back support. The overall look is completed with the frame and chair hand-woven in durable paper cord. We only sell this set as a whole because the colors are the same since they are all the same age.
