The Braun SK 55 is a radio–phono combination designed by Dieter Rams and Hans Gugelot in 1963.
This iconic record player belongs to the so-called “Snow White’s Coffin” collection, a series of audio units distinguished by their clean white housing and transparent acrylic lid. Its minimalist, functional design was revolutionary at the time, marking a clear departure from the heavy, decorative audio equipment typical of the era.
It is made of a white lacquered metal case with ash wooden side panels.
The unit has been fully serviced and is in perfect working order. On top of that it is in very good cosmetic condition.
Dimensions (w x d x h): 58,4 x 29,4 × 24cm
