Four chairs in black lacquered wood. A high backrest with a subtle curve and oval opening define the silhouette. The backrest and seat curves are as clean as they are ergonomic: the body naturally settles into the chair. The straight legs give the chair something stately, almost sculptural. Visible screws on the side let the construction show, rather than hiding it.
Designed by Edoardo Landi for the Italian Nikol International in the 1970s. The Diago model carries Italian modernism within it, and the post-brutalist movement: a clean geometric build where function and form meet.
Price is for the set of four. Two extra, identical chairs are available on request, for anyone looking to complete a suite of six
