The city of Devres is/was known for the white-blue faience produced there. There is a museum specializing in ceramics (Musée de la Céramique de Desvres), and in the market square (and other streets) of Desvres, you can still find quite a few examples of these ceramic tiles. This version, a table lamp from Desvres, is less common. The lampshade is unfortunately no longer included, but it is a wonderful addition for the Mojolica collector.
Sustainable and environmentally conscious. By adding vintage items to your interior, you're being environmentally conscious. These products don't require the use of new raw materials. Choosing vintage means using what's already available, making them sustainable. You might not be giving these objects a second life, but even a third or fourth. Vintage products are high-quality and last for a reason. Behind every vintage product is a story. The often minimal signs of wear offer a glimpse into the life of the previous owner. The extent of these signs of wear is stated in the description. Photos are part of this description, so please review them carefully. Vintage (meaning: used) items sometimes exhibit color variations, uneven wear, and/or normal wear and tear. Please keep this in mind when purchasing.
