This is a limited re-edition of a crib designed by the leading lady of Danish design, Nanna Ditzel. She created the design in 1964 when she was pregnant with her daughter, Lulu. The crib is also named after her daughter. The original version was made of Oregon Pine (American conifer) and was produced by the renowned Kolds Saevverk. This re-edition is made of steamed beechwood, making it lighter in color and more playful than the original. The wheels are also more modern. Otherwise, the design is very faithful to the original model. A unique feature is the design where the crib hangs from the stand, allowing the crib to rock. There is also a system at the bottom to prevent rocking. See photos. The re-edition was released in 2011 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of another iconic Danish furniture company, Brdr. Krüger. Only 200 of this re-edition were made. So it's not unique, but it is very rare... and above all, incredibly beautiful. But judge for yourself. The matching mattress is included free of charge if you wish.
