Vintage mid-century floor lamp – Goldkant Leuchten – Germany, ca. 1955–1965
Rare original floor lamp by Goldkant Leuchten, one of the most respected German designer lighting manufacturers of the 1950s and 1960s.
The lamp consists of a solid brass arched frame with a heavy round base and a large cocoon shade that emits a warm, diffused light. This type of cocoon material was used exclusively by high-end design studios such as Goldkant during this period and is part of the iconic mid-century design.
The base is marked with an E50 socket and factory stamp, indicating professional production.
Everything is completely original.
