Design classic, the Trinidad chair, designed by Nanna Ditzel for Fredericia Furniture. Introduced in 1993, this model is considered an iconic example of contemporary Danish design and has been praised worldwide for its innovative design and lightness. The characteristic, milled backrest with fan-shaped cut-outs gives the chair an almost architectural look while providing surprisingly airy seating comfort.
The seat and back are made of laminated and molded plywood, a technique that makes the chair both elegant and durable. The openwork pattern filters light and shadow, creating a lively and almost sculptural effect in any room. The steel base makes the structure stable, while the chair's light weight makes it easy to move. Ideal as a dining room chair, but also suitable for representative spaces or as a stand-alone eye-catcher in an interior.
