Design chair 'Plopp' designed by Polish designer Oskar Zieta in 2007 and manufactured by the Zieta Studio.
The special thing about this stool is the way it was manufactured. It was first welded and then very carefully inflated under high pressure along a valve at the bottom.
The chair has a matte gray lacquered color and shows signs of use that contribute to its rugged look (see photos).
The Plopp stool brought Zieta great fame and earned him numerous awards. The design also found its way to the Centre Pompidou in Paris as one of twelve chairs that changed contemporary design. Furthermore, it can be admired in numerous museums including the Zurich Design Museum.
