This rare decorative fine porcelain dish is a creation of the Wedgwood & Co. factory. It is distinguished by its octagonal shape and richly ornamented design, a testament to traditional English ceramic craftsmanship.
Made of porcelain, this dish measures 26 centimeters wide, 19 centimeters deep, and 4 centimeters high. It weighs 440 grams. The decoration features a deep blue border adorned with colorful fruit motifs, framing a white center decorated with a delicate black lace pattern and a central motif of plums. The mark "Imperial Porcelain Wedgwood & Co England" is visible on the back of the piece.
The overall condition reflects the age and use of the object, preserving its historical character. The piece displays an authentic patina that testifies to its history: it was broken but very well repaired! (see photos). It also has scratches and wear to the design.
