Product description
Decorative African wall mask, carved from wood with a dark patina, made in the style of Punu Tsangui masks from Gabon. Elongated face with half-closed eyes, adorned with geometric patterns on the forehead and a large, finely carved, stylized headdress. Solid on the back with an integrated hanging system, likely a handcrafted piece intended for export and interior decoration. Vintage 1980s-1990s.
Height 30cm, width 21cm, depth 11cm. Very good overall condition with some discreet wear and light signs of use. Approximately 500g.
