Armchair from the DS-84 series, produced by De Sede in Switzerland in the 1970s. The DS-84 series represents an early phase in De Sede's design language, where sculptural forms, honest material selection, and artisanal leatherwork were central to the brand identity.
This armchair is characterized by its compact, grounded proportions and gently curved shape. The upholstery consists of thick leather panels joined together with striking vertical stitching and characteristic zigzag seams, a signature element of De Sede's handcrafted production methods.
