De Sede DS-46 – 2-piece modular sofa / armchairs – buffalo leather – 1970s
Beautiful original De Sede DS-46 from the 1970s, consisting of two separate modular armchairs that together form a spacious 2-seater sofa. A true vintage design classic from the Swiss company De Sede, known for its exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and beautiful leathers. The DS-46 is finished in the characteristic, extremely thick buffalo leather (De Sede Neck leather). This leather is approximately 3–5 mm thick and is known for its immense durability. Over the years, the leather has acquired a beautiful dark cognac/brown patina, with the natural folds and color nuances that are so characteristic of these sofas. The two elements are completely separate from each other (to be connected via the existing base) and can be used together as a sofa or separately as two lounge armchairs. They have a wonderfully deep seat and are very solidly and heavily constructed. Details:
