This object is a very rare and very well preserved bar cart, designed by Ico Parisi around the mid-1950s. Made for the Italian furniture company de Boggis, the official name of this bar cart was "Number 58". It was common for the designer to name his products only by a progressive number, this also happened with chairs, tables, benches, etc. Skillfully crafted in mahogany and brass according to Parisi's drawings, the car is an iconic and very contemporary piece of Italian design from the Mid-Century Original and undamaged condition is further evidenced by the even and pleasing patina on the brass fittings, which gives the piece a wonderful antique touch.
