The Safari daybed dates back to 1962, when Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen designed a bed for a camping trip so that his son, who had a cold, would not have to sleep on the ground.
This portable bed can be stored and transported in a linen bag with a handy shoulder strap. It is quick and easy to assemble, requiring no screws or tools.
The simple frame is made of beech wood, and the upholstery consists of durable linen. The twisted sisal ropes form an essential part of the construction and simultaneously serve as a beautiful detail. The OGK daybed is a beautiful classic, ideal as a guest bed and for lounging both indoors and outdoors.
