An original Arne Jacobsen "Dot" stool, designed in 1954 with three legs. In the 1970s, Fritz Hansen decided to make it a four-legged stool, but for purists, this older version is still the stool Jacobsen intended.
Marked: Made in Denmark with number 0266
This is an earlier version, circa 1960–1969, without the visible screws on the seat.
The plywood seat is made of teak, and the frame is chrome-plated.
A small chip has been chipped from the seat, see photo. There's a white stripe on the seat (see photo); it can be scratched off without damaging it.
