Danish Sideboard model 37 designed by Arne Vodder in the 1960s. This iconic model was manufactured by Sibast Møbler and features both the original Sibast label and the "Danish Furnituremakers Control" quality mark.
The Sideboard is made of beautifully selected rosewood with an exceptionally beautiful, continuous veneer pattern across the entire front. The tambour doors open very easily using the subtly integrated handles. Inside, there are adjustable shelves and a drawer section with the characteristic organically shaped drawer fronts for which Arne Vodder is known.
The furniture is in very good condition with hardly any signs of use. Only the felt inside the drawers shows wear (see photos).
A timeless piece of furniture that effortlessly fits into both modern and classic interiors and is one of Arne Vodder's most sought-after designs!
Arne Vodder belongs to the second generation of great Danish modernists, alongside designers such as Finn Juhl and Hans J. Wegner.
