Stylish rosewood sideboard from Denmark, 1960s. The bookmatched veneer on both the door and the top gives the piece a calm, mirrored appearance characteristic of the better Danish designs from that period.
The sleek design rests on pointed legs with cross braces, completed by chrome handles and an original HUWIL lock (German made, key included). Behind the door is a shelf, and next to it three spacious drawers with wooden runners and light internals.
Original hardboard back panel. Comparable in style and craftsmanship to the work of Louis van Teeffelen and WéBé.
The furniture is in original condition with a beautiful patina. Light signs of use on the bottom of the cabinet compartment (visible in photos).
Dimensions: W 105 cm x D 41.5 cm x H 72 cm. The compact size makes the piece suitable for smaller living rooms and Amsterdam apartments.
