Danish pendant lamp from the 1960s, embodying the Scandinavian approach to lighting design where form serves light and colour defines the character of a space. The orange shade, spanning nearly fifty centimetres in diameter, commands attention while remaining part of a thoughtfully conceived lighting solution. The design centres on a wide, flattened conical shade that casts light broadly downward. A silver-finished metal fitting at the centre creates an elegant contrast with the vivid orange canopy and houses the E27 socket.
