Offered for acquisition: a beautiful icon of Danish Modern design. This solid teak rocking chair, model 182, was designed in 1958 by Frank Reenskaug for the renowned manufacturer Bramin.
The chair is known for its elegant, organic lines and the distinctive X-shape in the base. This piece is a real eye-catcher that looks great in both vintage and modern interiors.
The cushions are not original, but upholstered with old jeans. This gives the chair a rugged, contemporary twist.
The chair is in neat vintage condition with a beautiful warm patina. As is the case with many of these classics, there is a small, stable crack in one of the armrest legs (see detail photo). This does not affect the delightful seating comfort or sturdiness, but for perfection, a drop of wood glue would put the finishing touches on it. There are also some signs of use. The price has been adjusted accordingly. Height: approx. 88 cm
Width: approx. 67 cm
Seat height: approx. 45 cm
Seat depth: approx. 47 cm
