Product description
Danish cabinet from the 1970s, veneered in rosewood. The proportions are typical of Scandinavian design from that decade — a low-set body on angled legs that maintains visual lightness despite its solid construction. The warm tone of the rosewood veneer and its distinctive grain pattern lend the piece an elegance that requires no additional ornamentation. The construction follows a straightforward, well-considered form. A closed cabinet with double doors conceals an interior fitted with adjustable shelv, allowing the storage space to be configured according to changing needs. The doors close with handles that provide a subtle accent against the smooth fronts. Angled legs raise the body above the floor, emphasising the lightness of the overall composition while making it easier to clean beneath. The 1970s marked a period when Danish furniture design gained international recognition not through decorativeness but through quality of craftsmanship and functionality. Rosewood was particularly prized at the time — its deep colour and characteristic grain allowed designers to achieve elegance while maintaining minimalist forms.
