This Siësta table lamp (model D-2055.14) is a very rare version finished in matte white, designed by Maija Liisa Komulainen for Raak Amsterdam and produced in the Netherlands during the 1970s. The sculptural form is composed of four vertical metal panels that together create a strong architectural presence. Graphic, minimal and refined, the matte white finish accentuates the lamp’s pure geometry and sculptural qualities. When lit, the lamp emits a soft, warm golden glow that contrasts beautifully with the matte white surface. Light filters through the perforated details and open structure, recalling illuminated windows in a modernist building at dusk. The subtle underglow at the base enhances the floating effect and adds depth and atmosphere. The lamp is in very good vintage condition, with only minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. This model is seldom offered and highly desirable among collectors. A striking yet timeless piece that fits seamlessly into both modern and eclectic interiors, and a strong statement object for any curated design collection.
