Product description
This very rare organic shaped desk originates from the Netherlands and was made in the 1960s. It has a perfect boomerang shape and is made of precious wenge wood with a natural fine grain. With a creative and masterful wood structure, this piece deserves to be in a prominent place in design history. This desk combines function and aesthetics in a striking way, putting form at the service of the user while remaining elegant and modern. The bean-shaped tabletop features rounded edges with a wooden border. Underneath the top are two drawers shaped to match the desk construction. The included key functions as a handle. The turned slanted legs have been finished with brass feet. This elegant custom piece of furniture is the epitome of mid-century modern design and was probably made to special order.
