China cabinet / linen cabinet / living room cabinet, 2 doors, 2 drawers,
3 shelves on toothed grids, in dark oak
solid wood;
refinished in an antique turquoise-green style.
Accented with copper and gold.
The cabinet was handcrafted in the antique style in the
approximately 1950s-70s,
very high-quality reproduction of an original from
solid oak in the style of a cabinet
from the 17th century.
A gem, whether for the home,
for a hotel, guest house, or similar.
The interior shelves rest on crosspieces,
which can be inserted into the side toothed grids,
and the shelf heights can be adjusted as required.
Although the cabinet is heavy,
it is completely disassemblable, making it easy
to carry and transport.
The cabinet is simply slotted together
and held together with 5 bolts.
The back panel can be
attached with screws; You
don't necessarily have to.
You can assemble the cabinet by yourself,
except for attaching the roof, which requires two people. No modern cabinet can do that! Even if this cabinet is assembled and disassembled 20 times, it remains in very good condition, and all the parts always fit together very well.
Dimensions:
L 165 x D 60 x H 200 cm
Side height 177 cm
Drawers inside W 48 x D 46 x H 8 cm
Condition:
You can hardly speak of signs of age on this cabinet,
because the small notches everywhere were intentional at the time, to imitate a cabinet
from the 17th century.
The cabinet is generally still in very good condition.
Only one quasi-defect:
The base section with the drawers has a shrinkage crack in the middle of the base.
But that's not a big deal; the base is
still extremely stable. Shrinkage cracks
occur over the decades in old wood, in cabinets, on tabletops, etc.
The cabinet was built sometime in the
first half of the last century,
but it's impossible to say how old the wood really was. It could
even be much older.
The cabinet has intentional scratches and small dents!
