Jonathan Muecke – CTC2 Carbon Tube Chair 2 – MANIERA
A rare CTC2 – Carbon Tube Chair 2 by emerging American designer Jonathan Muecke, published in collaboration with MANIERA, the Brussels-based gallery known for collectible and experimental design.
Despite its name, the CTC2 is best understood as a sculptural lounge chair rather than a conventional dining or table chair. Its distinctive form is constructed from rigid and flexible carbon tubing, combined with leather, resulting in a lightweight but highly architectural piece.
The chair was made to order and is in excellent, near-new condition.
Muecke’s work sits at the intersection of furniture, sculpture and architecture, and his pieces are increasingly recognised within the international collectible design scene.
A striking and uncommon piece for a collector or for an interior where the chair can function as both seating and sculptural object.
