A bold yet understated armchair that channels the spirit of Dutch modernism. Inspired by Rietveld’s original Crate Chairfrom the 1930s, this design follows the same straightforward vocabulary: simple wooden planks, clean structural lines, and an honest, robust presence.
Wide armrests and a gently reclined backrest provide surprising comfort, while the exposed joinery and open screw holes add an industrial, utilitarian charm. A piece equally at home in a modern living space or an art-inspired interior.
