Product description
A unique vintage vase by Dutch artist Corry Ammerlaan, handmade and marked under the base with the initials CAM. It has an organic, tapered shape, and the green-blue dancing figures give the piece a powerful, recognizable character. The composition is reminiscent of Henri Matisse's "La Danse": connected figures that radiate movement and unity. The legs of the figures also form the infinity symbol. This gives the vase an expressive, almost modernist look that fits beautifully in a mid-century modern or contemporary interior.
Corry Ammerlaan is internationally beloved and known for her work at Artihove, where she was sold worldwide. Her ceramics and sculptures revolve around human connection. Signed pieces are sought after by enthusiasts of Dutch art and vintage design.
A decorative statement piece – beautiful on its own, even without flowers.
👌 Condition: Good vintage condition with some blemishes. A small chip on the top edge and a crack at the top of the neck. Not detracting from the overall look. See photos.
