Offered for sale: a beautiful, vibrant limited edition artwork by the world-renowned Dutch CoBrA artist Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010). This work is titled L'Arc-en-ciel (The Rainbow) and dates from 2004. It is an iconic summer scene from his later period, beautifully filled with his most beloved and recognizable motifs: a sensual female figure on the beach, a bird in the sky, and a flowing, multicolored rainbow. The work bursts from the wall due to the expressive and cheerful use of color so typical of the CoBrA movement. In the lower left corner, the canvas is clearly hand-signed with "Corneille".
