Cordless Scheurich Vase Lamp 529-18 – Fat Lava in Turquoise | 40 cm
This exceptional table lamp was created from an original Scheurich ceramic vase, model 529-18, a signature design from the early 1970s. The slender, slightly conical shape is defined by the striking vertical relief patterns at the bottom and the fine, circumferential grooves at the top. The vibrant turquoise-blue glaze lends the vase a fresh, almost Mediterranean feel.
In contrast, the intricately crafted cylindrical lampshade is covered in a high-quality knitted decorative fabric with a lively floral pattern reminiscent of expressive textile designs from the 1970s. Bold shades of red, yellow, green, and turquoise create an impressive depth against the dark background. The shade is finished at the top and bottom with a turquoise velvet band that echoes the vase's color scheme, uniting both elements into a harmonious whole.
The lamp is wireless, making it easy to place wherever you want atmospheric lighting – on sideboards, windowsills, shelves, bedside tables, or as a decorative accent on the dining table or patio.
Like all Roomlight Studio lamps, this unique piece has been carefully repurposed. The vase's collector's value is preserved, as no drilling was required. The reversible plug-in solution allows for easy restoration to its original state. The lamp base is weighted for added stability.
The rechargeable LED bulb is charged via USB-C and provides approximately 6 to 12 hours of light, depending on the brightness setting. The light color and brightness can be conveniently adjusted using the remote control. Replacement bulbs are available for purchase.
