Copper-Colored Fuga Table Lamp 'Solo' D-2069 Raak
1960s Fuga table lamp designed by Finnish Maija Liisa Komulainen for Raak Amsterdam. An aluminum lamp reminiscent of an organ pipe. Thanks to the indirect light, it's a very atmospheric table lamp. Designed in 1964.
This version is called the 'Solo' and, as the name suggests, is a standalone lamp. Compared to its more famous siblings, the Solo is a table lamp, not a wall lamp. The beautiful color of this Fuga is also copper-colored, not brushed aluminum. It's almost a light dusky rose.
The base of the Solo contains an E27 socket with a bulb inside. This gives the Fuga table lamp its characteristic light.
The lamp is in good condition, but has minor signs of wear, such as scratches. See photos for details.
In old Raak Amsterdam catalogs, the lamp is coded 'D-2069'.
