Destrozado by Rouzbeh Tahmassian - Netherlands - 2022 - Unique work - Signed - 60 cm x 40 cm - Original work of art. Mixed media based on the artist's photographic work, on burnt wood. The wood is reworked, then reconstructed. Oil paint is applied with the fingers only. Resin is burned onto it using a technique all her own. Materials include photo, wood plate, fire, oil and acrylic paint, gouache, watercolor, damar resin, beeswax and varnish. The top layer of the painting is covered with a special varnish that protects it from dust and UV rays. Signed on the back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Rouzbeh Tahmassian is a visual artist based in Rotterdam. His work is sold and exhibited worldwide. His unique combination of techniques, materials and expressive images makes his work very popular.
