An icon of Italian design, the Componibili was created in 1967 by architect and designer Anna Castelli Ferrieri for Kartell. Presented at the Milan Furniture Fair that same year, this small storage unit quickly became a success thanks to its simple yet ingenious concept: stackable, lightweight, functional cylindrical modules easily adaptable to everyday use.
Recognized for its innovative design, the Componibili is now part of the permanent collections of MoMA in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In 2017, Kartell celebrated the 50th anniversary of this model, which has become one of the Italian company's signature creations.
This particular model consists of four stacked modules, each with a sliding door. Its attractive glossy mauve finish adds a very elegant and contemporary touch to its minimalist silhouette. It will look equally at home in a bedroom, bathroom, or office, or as a small accent piece in a living room or entryway.
Excellent condition, almost like new. The piece has only a few very light scratches from use, barely noticeable, which do not affect its appearance or functionality.
Please note: 1967 refers to the design of the model by Anna Castelli Ferrieri, not the date of manufacture of this particular piece, which is a more recent production.
A true classic of Italian design, both practical, decorative, and timeless, offered here in superb condition and a particularly elegant color.
