Studio Haag is proud to offer a complete Daruma set of floor lamps by Sergio Asti for Candle, Italy, 1960s
Designed in the 1960s by Sergio Asti for the Italian manufacturer Candle, this exceptional complete Daruma set represents one of the most iconic and playful lighting designs of the period. The set consists of six floor lamps, ranging from the smallest model to the largest, presented together as a full, coherent group.
Each lamp features the distinctive Daruma form — a softly rounded opaline diffuser topped with a dome-like cap — emitting a warm, gentle glow that feels both sculptural and inviting. Arranged together, the lamps create a striking, almost landscape-like composition, blurring the line between lighting and object.
The set is in great vintage condition, with clean surfaces and beautifully preserved forms. Most lamps retain their original labels, a rare detail that underscores the quality and authenticity of the pieces.
The Daruma lamps are almost never offered as the full range of sizes, making this complete six-piece set extremely rare and highly collectible. A remarkable opportunity to acquire one of Italian design’s most poetic lighting concepts in its entirety.
A true statement set — sculptural, atmospheric, and now available through Studio Haag.
