Vintage bar or cocktail table designed by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform in 1957. This table has a partly solid and partly veneer teak wooden frame with black leg structure and sycomore slats. Ceramic top on a sliding panel with storage compartment underneath for magazines or drinks. The removable tray with ceramic tiles can slide from left to right.
The abstract composition of a female in vibrant blue colours was designed by the Belgian artist Willy Meysmans. In 1958 he created a monumental work of art in ceramics for the Belgian pavilion at the World Exhibition in Brussels. He also made several other works of art in ceramics for private and public buildings.
