This wall-mounted soap dish is attributed to the renowned Italian company Fontana Arte and dates from the 1970s. It is distinguished by its clean design and deep blue color, characteristic of the aesthetics of that era. Made of cobalt blue glass with a chrome-plated metal wall bracket, this piece measures 32 cm wide, 12 cm deep, and 3 cm high (including a 1.2 cm glass thickness) and weighs 990g. The glass features two shallow circular indentations designed to hold soaps, combining functionality and elegance. Its style perfectly embodies the mid-century Italian design movement. The dish is in good overall condition, retaining all its original character. The metal bracket is slightly damaged (pitted) but can be replaced, and the glass is scratched where the soaps were placed (see photos). This shelf will find its perfect place in a vintage or contemporary bathroom, adding a touch of color and refinement to the space.
