A very atmospheric and characteristic hand-painted genre painting in oil on canvas, with a traditional depiction of two monks during a wine tasting in a monastery cellar. The depiction is inspired by the work of the well-known German artist Eduard von Grützner (1846–1925).
The combination of the atmospheric scene and the richly decorated gold-colored frame makes this painting a real eye-catcher. A particularly decorative piece that can be beautifully displayed in a classic interior, hospitality establishment, restaurant or mancave.

Signature: The work is hand-signed at the bottom right. The exact letters of the name are difficult to decipher. See the detailed photos to assess the signature yourself.
