A beautiful, complete dining set from the high-quality Dutch furniture manufacturer Heldense. This is a classic ensemble from the exclusive "The Re-Furn Collection," crafted in warm, glossy mahogany in the classic English Regency style. The set, consisting of an extendable oval table (Model 24-1351) and four matching comfortable chairs (Model 26-0016), embodies the traditional furniture artistry for which the brand is known. The table displays a rich grain and a refined finish and rests on an elegant four-pronged base, finished with brass accents. The table has a base width of 135 cm and can easily be extended to 180 cm using extension leaves. Width 100 cm and height 76 cm. The 4 chairs feature a turned wooden handle at the top. They feature the original, chic blue fabric upholstery ("Tina 24") with a refined diamond pattern that forms a subtle contrast with the dark wood. The upholstery and foam are still in very good, sturdy condition. Chair height 86 cm, seat height 46 cm, width 45 cm, and depth 41 cm. This set was purchased in 1990 from Meuble Classique Hans Rippens and is in very neat condition and has been maintained with care. The original finish of the mahogany wood has been well preserved, and the chair upholstery shows characteristic signs of careful use. What makes this set unique is that its complete history is present. The set comes with the original catalogue booklet and the original purchase invoice from 1990, confirming its provenance and authenticity. This dining set fits perfectly in a classic or traditional interior.
