Product description
Beautiful, characteristic French patinated chalice vase on an elegantly detailed tripod base.
This decorative object is made entirely of heavy cast iron and features a stunning twisted fluting pattern in the bowl. These chalice vases were already being produced in the late 19th century, as well as the early 20th century.
It is estimated that the manufacture of this piece during this period is fairly realistic. The vase features an authentic, weathered patina with a worn cream-white lacquer layer and rust formation.
This 'shabby chic' look makes it a unique eye-catcher for a country or eclectic interior, as well as for outdoors in the garden or on the veranda. Solid cast iron (very heavy and stable quality product, in authentic vintage condition with a beautiful, natural patina commensurate with its age.)
