Product description
Founded in 1814, the Dutch company La Paz is one of Europe's oldest cigar manufacturers. Its lithographed tin boxes, produced for the Wilde Havana Primeros assortments, are notable. This flattened square box (13 x 13 cm, 3 cm high) contained 20 cigars. The bright yellow background, the black and gold oval medallion with the La Paz logo in script, the diagonal golden banner, and the red wax seal "Fabricado con La Paz" create a simple and elegant design, characteristic of 1980s tobacco packaging. Significant oxidation and stains on the lid, very oxidized bare metal bottom. Authentic use patina, visible in the photos. Netherlands, 1980s-1990s.
