Set of three framed lithographs, "Black Book Twice," from a limited edition of 350, by French artist Sébastien Girard, France, circa 2024. These works follow Christopher Wool's "Black Book" series produced in 1989. They belong to the long tradition of an artist appropriating another's work, modifying it, and making it their own. In this case, Girard's works feature Wool's words printed on both sides of the paper, creating an entirely new mirror image. Recently professionally framed in new white frames.
