This is a beautiful vintage Christian Dior advertising bust in the color red, originally designed as a display mannequin for the promotion of luxury gloves.
These iconic figures date from the period between the 1930s and 1960s and are executed in a distinctive Art Deco style.
The bust is crafted from polychrome painted plaster.
It depicts a stylized female face resting on a pair of long, red gloves that form the base of the sculpture.
The height is 58 centimeters.
At the bottom, the bust is marked with the "Christian Dior" logo in relief.
